WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE SHOWING UP AT MY DOOR SOLICITING ROOFING WORK? CAN I TRUST THEM?
Since the August of 2015 hail storm, our community has been inundated with “storm chasers” who seek to align themselves with established local roofing companies to give the appearance of being local. They are not. LaBelle Roofing has chosen not to let these out of state organizations use our name. Here’s why…
High-Pressure Sales Tactics:
Storm chasers will ask you to sign a contingency form on the spot. It is designed to keep you on the hook until insurance monies get approved. This is not a binding document. Take your time when choosing a contractor, exercise your due diligence, you’ll be glad you did!
Storm chasers typically offer one or two year warranties, at best. A good roofing warranty will include a lifetime manufacturers warranty along with a 5 or 10-year workmanship warranty.
No Follow Up Service:
Storm chasers will leave town to chase the next storm. The small company that remains is usually ill equipped to handle the torrent of service calls that can ensue from the hundreds of roofs they have banged out quickly.
LaBelle Roofing has been serving Harvard, Wayland, Sudbury and the greater Metro West area for over ten years, and we will be here after the storm chasers are long gone. We are located directly across the street from Whole Foods in Wayland on Boston Post Road.
Call us if you have any questions or concerns. We have certified roofing inspectors on staff to answer your queries and help you through the insurance process. We have already assisted many local homeowners and are happy to provide references.
